Ed de Lacy's Work For Paramount+ Nominated

We're incredibly proud that Ed de Lacy's work with Paramount+ for Stags Chant has been nominated for Best Use of Sound Design at the GEMA Awards TV/Streaming UK.

The brief was to help deliver the narrative arc of the promo using the ‘Stags!” chant, guiding the viewer how to feel throughout. It starts as a boozy, euphoric rendition before slowly becoming more woozy and unsure. The words get more sketchy and paranoid, then whispered and terrified, culminating in outright terror and screaming.

The chant is supported by edgy and tense sound design, added distortion and vocal effects.
